RENEE HONG THERAPY
fees and insurance
standard session fees
My standard rate for individual therapy is $150 per 50-minute session, whereas relationship or family therapy is $180 per 50-minute session. I accept payment via credit card, debit card, check, and Zelle.
You can view my financial policy and fee schedule for more detailed information on the cost of services. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale slots in my practice for clients with financial concerns, with eligibility determined on an individual basis.
insurances accepted
I am in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare. Please note that I am unable to accept Anthem Blue Cross plans where behavioral health benefits are administered by Beacon Health Options. To confirm whether I am in-network for your specific insurance plan, please review your benefits through my Headway profile.

I am considered out-of-network for all other insurances. I can provide you with a superbill, which is a detailed invoice outlining the services you have received. You can use a superbill to submit a claim directly with your insurance company to seek out-of-network reimbursement for my services. A superbill will include all the information your insurance company will require to process the claim, such as your identifying information, my practice information, the date of service, the procedural code for psychotherapy services, and diagnosis information.
cancellation fees
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend your appointment, you must cancel or request to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. Late cancellations within the 24-hour window and no shows will be charged the full session fee.
