RENEE HONG THERAPY
healing begins with empathy
culturally sensitive, trauma-informed therapy with emphasis on
LGBTQIA+ issues, multicultural identity, and self-growth
Healing is a deeply personal journey, and integral to this process is having a nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe and heard. Therapy can be that safe place to explore aspects of your identity you may never have addressed, reconnect with wounded parts of yourself, and foster a greater sense of acceptance to help you to handle the many stresses of life.

One of the strongest factors that predict success in treatment is the quality of the relationship you develop with your therapist. I prioritize building the connection with each of my clients through empathy and active listening. Empathy is more than simply understanding what another person has experienced; it includes the ability to imagine that person’s emotional experiences, as well as holding space for these feelings. Whether your concerns involve childhood trauma, life transitions, or relationship issues, I will meet you where you currently are with empathy and patience.

I am committed to working with you collaboratively to identify the challenges you are experiencing and develop tools to help you in reconnecting with the wounded parts of yourself. I would be honored to partner with you on your journey of healing and personal growth.
